After the birth of my son it always was very interesting how old exactly he is at the moment. Each day and each week something new is happening - often you can read about it in advance in books or on the internet. With footsteps I always know in which week he is and what to expect. And to be honest, even if you arent a child those numbers are still very fascinating!
